Question
·  How to reach us
·  Hello! We appreciate your site and have learned a lot. We are a new member and are trying to learn how to put messages on the board and also how to use the chat room. This is the question we have for the message board: How about some ideas on what this 1949 model 201 pick up is worth? Unit is complete parked in running condition 25 years ago in a shed-motor is stuck now. Virtually rust-free body. Thanks, JimmyH.
·  I am trying to find a date and model number of a fire truck. This morning I posted an inquiry in the "Truck Talk..." and "Looking for Info" message boards. I also tried to post two pictures of the truck in the "Fire Truck" Gallery but they did not seem to take. Is it because they must be approved by a mnoderator before appearing? I can re-send the images again by email. I did not want to try re-posting to the gallery and finding I made duplicate submissions. Thanks. Alvin
·  If I wish to post a Diamond-T sales brochure, or two, for sale, would I use the "Buy, Sell, Trade & eBay" section in the message boards?
·  Hi there. I have seen a Diamond T truck today which has the Model 2448 on it's manufacturer's plate. It has a 14,000 lb gross weight and is said to be 4840 lbs unladen. I take it to be 1936 or 37 but as we are in Australia, the cab may not be of Diamond T manufacture. The vehicle is not necessarily for sale, but I am keen to know more about it. The chassis number is 26479. Any information would be gratefully received. Cheers - Dave

Jimmy first let me welcome you to the web page I try to keep things going and interesting for all. To add to the message board you must log on to the web page. Now click on the tab to the left... Message Boards...Now find a section where you would like to post a question and click the name you want under FOURM: If you want to start a new subject on the left side click NEW TOPIC fill out what your question or request is then click POST NEW TOPIC Make sure you check the box next to Receive email notification of new replies? That way when someone gives you info the system will email you that you have a responses
A 1949 201 can go for about $500.00 to $5000.00 depending on condition. Sounds like your truck would be about mid range due to the engine problems but I would have to see the truck to tell you more. If you are looking to sell the truck EBAY would be the place to do it. Set your reserve amount and let them bid away. From what little I know of the truck I would say $1500.00 should be your reserve. On the chat room First you must log on to the web page and if you have a pop up add killer you must shut it off. When the chat room refreshes the pop up add killer will think its a add and kick you off the chat. In some cases your virus filters (Norton's McAffe Black Ice and others) will have pop up add killers built right in that will keep you off the chat. Most users come to the Saturday evening chats starting at 4 pm pacific time. We also have the Coffee club that shows up Sunday mornings from 8 am to noon pacific. If you need more help please email me at diamondtclassics@sbcglobal.net

They are down at the moment due to a hacker but as soon as there up you are welcome to add them and sell them. Shortly our new Classified section will be back open with a new program. Thank you for your Question Gold Miner

Send your question to Leroy Gurganus of Jasper Alabama. who has been collecting a list of serial # for Diamond T trucks and who owns them. He may be able to id your truck and give you the year that it was built and how many in that year. Make sure you give him your info for his records.
His address is PO BOX 3227 Jasper Alabama. 35502 Hr dose not have email or even a computer
